hi tumblr. so starting tomorrow we will be on superwholock hiatus and, knowing that many of us will be lost with out our shows, i would like to recommend another one. Buffy the Vampire Slayer. so you may be thinking “oh its another vampire show” or “why do i even care madeline” well lets look at all of the reasons tumblr would love buffy.

• Joss Whedon. Avengers, Firefly, Dr. Horribles Sing-Along Blog. he has made some of the things that we have already freaked out about and this show has all of his wit and wonderfulness
• Cheekbones. that blonde guy up there is probably the sexiest vampire youve ever seen. hes on the show. so if youre just being superficial, there are many hot people. oh and for all you weirdos who go crazy over an accent, that guys also british.
• Uther and Lily! thats right, uther pendragon is a badass librarian on this show and lily (himym) is a wonderfully awesome nerd!
• wonderful character development. lots of interesting plots. and also lots of sadness for spn fans
• on netfilx! if you didnt already want to watch the show, the whole series is on netflix just waiting for you! 
• theres a spinoff. not as good (though still spectacular) is the spinoff of buffy which is also on netflix. so theres ample episodes
• badass female characters. buffy is such a badass its hard to write down. shes is girly but also kills vampires 24/7 and there’s willow who is a nerd who can kick some ass and then theres cordelia who starts out as simply a bitch but then becomes an amazing charaSHIT I DONT WANT TO SPOIL IT FOR YOU JUST GO WATCH IT NOW YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT

alright i could probably list a thousand more reasons that you should watch buffy, but i feel like this lists sums up why tumblr would love btvs. so go now and watch it. youre welcome. :)
